Advancing Understanding Through Scholarship and Dialogue

The University of Cincinnati Israel Initiative brings together teaching, research, international partnerships, and public engagement focused on Israel and the relationship between the United States and Israel.
Based at the University of Cincinnati, the UC Israel Initiative draws on expertise across the humanities, engineering, business, social sciences, sciences, professional programs, and the arts. It supports interdisciplinary learning about Israel and U.S.-Israel relations, encourages evidence-based inquiry, and creates opportunities for students, faculty, scholars, practitioners, and community members to engage with complex questions.
Through Israel Studies courses, research projects, visiting scholars, public programs, study opportunities, and international partnerships with Oranim College, the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, and the University of Haifa, the initiative connects academic knowledge with contemporary public life.
